When we think of flooding the first thing that comes to mind is a rain event that may last for days. This picture was taken in downtown Tuscaloosa on a summer afternoon in 2008 when a slow moving pulse storm developed. The amount of rain in such a short amount of time produced flash flooding within the city and around the UA Campus.
